Welcome — I’m Suzy Pollard, a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) with over 18 years of experience supporting individuals as they move from overwhelm and disconnection toward calm, clarity, and self-trust.
I offer online therapy for adults anywhere in Ontario. My work blends compassion with evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Induced After-Death Communication (IADC).

Online sessions make therapy accessible and comfortable. You can meet from your own private space — no travel, no parking, just your time to focus on you.
Many clients find online sessions more consistent and easier to fit into real life. All you need is a quiet space and an internet connection.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I draw from several evidence-based methods depending on your needs:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – to process trauma and distressing memories safely
IFS (Internal Family Systems) – to help you understand and heal your inner parts with compassion
ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) – to support clients with OCD in facing fears gradually and safely
IADC (Induced After-Death Communication) – a structured two-session process for healing grief and loss
Somatic and Mindfulness-based work – to help you feel grounded and present in your body
EMDR Therapy: What is it?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that allows people to heal from somatic distress, which allows the body to not have the same response. This distress can be a result of disturbing life experiences. It is a structured therapy that encourages the client to focus briefly on their troubling memories while experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements). Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma , anxiety, negative cognitions and PTSD symptoms.
Induced After-Death Communication (IADC) Therapy
IADC Therapy is a focused, short-term approach typically conducted over two consecutive sessions. It is designed to reduce the emotional pain of grief using a modified EMDR protocol. As emotional resolution deepens, clients often enter a receptive state where they experience a profound sense of connection with their deceased loved one—sometimes through sensory impressions or a strong feeling of presence.
Many clients report a significant easing of grief, resolution of unresolved issues, and reassurance about their loved one’s wellbeing. These experiences often lead to a deep emotional shift and a sense of ongoing connection, rather than separation.
Importantly, IADC Therapy does not rely on personal beliefs to be effective. Whether clients interpret their experiences as spiritual, psychological, or neurobiological, the healing outcomes remain consistent.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD
Living with OCD can feel exhausting, but you don’t have to face it alone. At Chaos to Connection Psychotherapy, we now offer Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a gentle, supportive therapy designed to help you break free from the cycle of obsessions and compulsions. Together, we’ll work step by step to face fears in a safe way, while learning new tools to ease anxiety and build confidence. ERP is proven to help people with OCD reclaim their lives — and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
